The new five door Clio is now on sale in the UK.
Prices range from £8,995 for the entry-level Authentique 1.2 16V 75 rising to £15,050 for the 1.5 dCi 106 bhp Initiale. The five door version carries a £600 premium over the three door Clio. There will be five trim levels: Authentique, Expression, Dynamique, Privilege and Initiale.
Renault expects the tow best sellers to be the Dynamique 1.4 16V 98 petrol at £10,850 and the Dynamique 1.5dCi 86 diesel with air conditioning at £12,250. Renault claims these models undercut most rivals on price (although the new Fiat Grande Punto has also been priced very aggressively).
