While browsing our inbox this afternoon, we received an email from our good friend Angrykirill, directing us to what appears to be the first ever shots of the forthcoming
model year 2028
Mercedes-Benz CL-Class.
As you'll see from the photographs, highlights of this impeccably-styled turquoise
Mercedes include a cheese-grater inspired front grille, the always-popular Lamborghini doors, and of course, a joystick steering control. Power/engine specifics aren't given, although I wouldn't be surprised to see some form of Doctor Emmett Brown's flux capacitor technology finally making its way into a series production
Mercedes model. At this point, however, that's purely speculation on my part.
We'll keep you posted if we hear anything new; in the meantime, view more photos of the upcoming CL-Class below (click any to enlarge), or head over Fishki.net for a few additional pics.
[Update: for those of you interested in what
model the
Mercedes in question really is, Mike of Jalopnik fame informed us it's actually a 1996
Mercedes F200 concept, as opposed to what I originally thought may have been the work of an over-ambitious photoshopping
Mercedes fan. Thanks for the heads up Mike.]
