It's been a busy past couple days in the land of
Mercedes reviews, with a total of nine articles being dedicated to eight different
Mercedes models. The
Mercedes SLK280, the CL600, the CL500, the C200K Elegance, the C220 CDI Sport, the B200, the Viano and the BRABUS CLS - these are the vehicles chosen to take part in our newest "Review Roundup" installment; so if you've contemplating the purchase of any, keep reading to find out what reviewers thought of each.
You can find links to each article along with tidy descriptions of each immediately below.
Enjoy.
Mercedes SLK280 - Carpoint.com.au provides Australians with a quick look at the SLK280, recommending that consumers instead opt for the SLK350 variant and eventually rating it three-and-a-half out of a possible five stars
Mercedes CL600 - Jeremy Clarkson and the Times Online provide their trademark well-written yet somewhat concise look at the CL600, concluding that "as a car, it beats all of them [the Bentley Continental, as well as offerings from Porsche, Aston Martin and Maserati]. By a country mile."
Mercedes CL600 - Motor Trend's blog looks at the V12-powered luxury coupe; ultimately, the article divulges nothing more than the fact the Merc is capable of achieving 20.9 mpg over a 106-mile stretch of flat highway in Michigan
Mercedes CL500 - The Belfast Telegraph, after delivering a detailed objection to the CL500's given moniker, found that "this finely honed car comes close to perfection in just about every other respect"
Mercedes C200K Elegance - AutoExpress spends time with the new C-Class, stating that "it's an excellent compact luxury car" and eventually rating it four out of a possible five stars
Mercedes C220 CDI Sport - The Voice is the second to weigh in on the new C-Class - this time a diesel variant; eventually, the reviewer concludes by stating "I could spend several issues of this paper extolling the virtues of the new
Mercedes offering. All I can say is just buy one and you'll see what all the fuss is about."
Mercedes B200 - Auto123 provides Canadians with a look at the compact
Mercedes B-Class, with the reviewer concluding that "in general, I adored my week behind the wheel"
Mercedes Viano - The Times Online provides a nice "Used Car" look at the
Mercedes Viano; offering their insight as to what variants and features offer the best bang for your buck
BRABUS
Mercedes CLS - Last but not least, The Car Show details via their online video program both the BRABUS company and the BRABUS CLS; it's by no means a comprehensive review, but it's a good way to waste a few minutes of your workday
And before I go, a special thanks to Shiv for the tips: as always, we sincerely appreciate it.
