Jaguar South Africa has announced the pricing of its new XF model, which replaces the S-Type.
The XF's local order book opens at the end of September, with the first cars expected by mid-2008.

# XF 2.7 V6 Diesel: R509 000
# XF 3.0 V6: R543 000
# XF 2.7 V6 Diesel: R553 000
# XF 4.2 V8 Naturally Aspirated: R605 510
# XF 4.2 V8 Supercharged: R783 850
Jaguar will officially unveil the car at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
The XF heralds a new era for the British brand.
The sedan shows off coupe-like lines but assures room for five, while the styling drops Jaguar's signature anachronistic look in favour of a sleek more modern design. Of course, some design inspiration from the XK was probably welcomed too.
Images of the XF's cabin show materials and surfaces now more luxurious than before. Driver-friendly touch screen controls are standard.
