BMW readies M-powered X5

Here's proof that BMW is working on a hot M-version of its X5 SAV, likely to be powered by the carmaker's 6.0-litre V12 taken from the 760i and delivering 327kW

Engines offered so far are the 3.0-litre in-line six and the 4.8-litre V8 pumping a massive 261kW.

Hints that lead us to believe a hotter X5 is coming are the larger exhaust pipes and the entirely new front bumper with bigger air-intakes to ensure cooling of brakes and engine.
