BMW's new V5, is believed to be Munich's answer to the
Mercedes-Benz R-Class with typically BMW car-like performance. Take a peek.
The vehicle has been tentatively dubbed V5 (for "versatility") and is based on BMW's Room Function Concept (RFK).
And though the vehicle will apparently drive and handle like a car, the five-door MPV will likely feature three rows of seats and offer seating for up to seven occupants.
It will, based on these spy shots, have more headroom than the X6 while being significantly shorter than the R-Class.
The production version will slot in between the X5 and 5 Series and is also likely to carry the sedan's engine range.
