The iconic Porsche 911 is going under the knife and a facelift will shortly be revealed.
Before then, our spies have snapped images of an almost undisguised prototype of the 911 Turbo, even though it is practically new.
Exterior modifications include a new layout for the headlights and redesigned tail lights. Standard 911s also get a fresh front bumper with 911 Turbo-like air intakes. The rear bumper receives some attention too.
The cabin is also expected to be spruced up, although it is suspected that power will continue to be sourced from the current 3.6- and 3.8-litre flat sixes with 239 and 261 kW on tap, respectively.
The facelifted 911 range is expected to be made public at the upcoming Detroit Motor Show.
