This is the third
model to be released in the Peugeot 207 SW range, called the 207 SW Outdoor. Peugeot says this
model has been designed specifically for families who enjoy outdoor pursuits but don't need an out-and-out off-roader. The 207 Outdoor is based on the 207 SW Sport
model but has been given increased ground clearance and 'off-road' looks, including 16-inch alloy wheels and large grey wheel arch extensions and sill mouldings. It still gets the full panoramic roof and - in addition to the 'Sport' specifications - adds dark tinted rear side windows and tailgate glass, washable floor mats and the choice of Aspen black or brown interior trim. The 207 SW Outdoor will be available with three engine options, two HDi diesels; the 1.6-litre 90bhp and 1.6-litre 110bhp with diesel particle filter system - which will return a frugal 54mpg - and a 1.6-litre VTi 120bhp petrol engine. It gets officially launched in December and prices will start from £13,650.
