Chrysler has launched a fuel incentive programme offering owners of its vehicles a three-year price fuel price cap as 76% of its customers cite rising fuel prices as a top concern.

The Let's Refuel America campaign is available to new owners of Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge vehicles throughout the US only who select this programme over other available incentives.

Enrolling owners receive a fuel card that lowers the price of their fuel to $2.99 a gallon for three years. It is being offered until June 2.

Chrysler LLC decided to assist owners in this manner following the creation of a customer advisory board in February to elicit feedback directly from customers.

This revealed that 76% of those surveyed were either "very concerned" or "extremely concerned" about fuel prices and 83% polled responded that rising fuel prices would in some way affect their summer holiday plans.

Most vehicles within Chrysler's US stable are eligible except all SRT performance models, the Dodge Viper, Dodge Challenger, Dodge Ram Chassis Cab, Chrysler Crossfire, Jeep Wrangler and Dodge Sprinter.
