With our influx of
Mercedes GLK-themed stories yesterday you may have thought we forgot about the rest of the
Mercedes-Benz family, but we assure you: we haven't. In fact, not only have we not forgotten about the GLK's many siblings, we're even taking the time to update you as to how development is coming for two
Mercedes models still in their infancy and under the tender embrace of their ever-protective mother.
The first
model that I speak of is the
Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren Speedster - the spectacular open-air supercar that's rumored to be making its world premier on July 30th. A new series of spy photos have emerged that provide yet another look at the
model, but the vertigo-inducing camouflage serves its purpose well, hiding many of the speedster's details and possibly triggering and epileptic reaction in the process.
As for the second
model making headlines, that honor goes to the forthcoming 2010
Mercedes-Benz E-Class, with three new spy photos providing a fairly-detailed look at the
model. While the rear tail lights are still heavily masked, there's no denying the design of the front headlights borrows heavily from those of the new 2009 SL-Class.
But what fun is simply reading about spy photos when you can instead view them for yourself? To see both the
Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren Speedster and 2010
Mercedes-Benz E-Class spy
photo galleries in their entirety, keep scrolling for the full collection.
And to Michael, the individual gracious enough to send us all the following photos: we sincerely extend our warmest gratitude.
Enjoy ladies and gentlemen.
