Chrysler in talks with Tata, Fiat?

Embattled US manufacturer Chrysler is reportedly in talks with India's Tata Motors and Italy's Fiat.

According to an Automotive News report, Chrysler has been trying to arrange the sale of its Jeep Wrangler in India and other Asian markets with Tata.

It has also been talking to Fiat about sharing production capacity and cooperating in retail distribution in North America.

Chrysler, the third largest US manufacturer, is controlled by investment firm Cerberus Capital Management following its break from Daimler last year.
