(BNamericas.com)The Chilean unit of Japanese banking giant Tokyo-Mitsubishi will change its name to The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ from January 1, 2006, Chile's banking regulator said.
The bank's assets and deposits stood at 62bn pesos (US$120mn) and 38bn pesos respectively at end-September.
Tokyo-Mitsubishi is one of the largest banks in Japan in terms of overall market share.
